I know what you mean. Our last two moves, I promised myself I would start weeding through it all before I bought any more. I gave so much away that was "one of these days" projects...some, I don't even want to think of how many years I'd had them. LOL
I still have some things, I really want left, but at least now I feel a little less overwhealmed.
Years ago there was a bumber sticker, and as I remember it read "the one who dies with the most fabric wins" Yikes I think I could have been an all time winner in fabric alone.
I'm getting much better...really. LOL

I think many of us find ourselves in this situation. It is easier to let go of some things verses others. I have been going through things and deciding what stays and goes. Some things I know exactly what I have planned for doing with them, it's just hard when you have SO many things going on all at the same time!LOL! Now I just really try to be more selective and not so impulsive. If it serves a useful purpose, great, if it's just for looks sake, I really give it alot of thought.
I wish everyone luck with their projects.

I hear you. Right now I have so many things I want to make or redo, that I am a bit overwhelmed. I had hoped to get a lot done today, but I am having horrible allergy problems today. They say the mold count is really high. Cindy

I'm sure that our intentions were good when we bought all this stuff!
I know what you mean. I have stuff in the basement, in the garage and oh my, my poor dining room table is now full of the past weeks treasure hunt finds. I hope no one stops over unannounced, I would die of embarrassment. I truely intended to at least finish up the pie safe in the garage this weekend, but it was so muggy today, I didn't dare paint. If would take forever to dry.
I don't know about you all, but I tend to more crafty and creative in the fall. I love to make things, fix things and bake things. At least I have plenty of projects to keep me busy this fall.
Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

Donna,I do most of my crafting during the fall and winter. Summer time drains me of energy.

I managed to take a couple of hours today and pulled a few "redo items" out of boxes. I painted 5 small wood bowls it's a set.Painted a larger bowl. I had a vintage wooden peanut dispenser with the glass bowl on top, old wooden recipes holder. wooden cheese plate with glass lid. I have painted them all. Need to sand and prim stain them. I might put them on etsy. I just way to much stuff already and need to get some of it out of the house.I will take some pics when i finish.
