It's a full so I have to use it in the Folly. I would have paid more but it was only $10.

Oh my! Those are very delicate and so full of details! Are you going to put it on your bed? Love it, it reminds me of my Great Grandmas home. She had all these lovely pretties, I used to love going in her room and look at all her pretties. Cindy is right too, what a deal!

Oh my goodness Blondie that is gorgeous! Did you say you were using the shower curtain? Man what a special treat someone is going to have getting to sleep in that folly!!!! I bet that's pretty with you netting over the bed and that to. WOW sooo neat! When my daughter gets married and I have a spare bedroom I want to fix it up with all old stuff like this. I would dearly LOVE to have an old iron bed frame to! Those don't come around often around here though!

I have a lot of battenburg things I've been saving. I want to make something special with it all one day.

Thank you. Gardengal, I have one of those old vintage travel trailers that is my studio and it has a bedroom that I use for company. I call my trailer the Garden Folly. The bedroom feels like a tree house to me because the bed is on a platform and way higher than a regular bed. That's where I use alot of my pretties since I have hubby and a black lab in our house. If I had a theme song it would be 'I enjoy being a girl'! I just love fancy stuff! Rose, I am useing the shower curtain in the house. As you can see the bath is very dark most of the time and the curtain lightens it up. I still need to iron the other bed cover that matches the battenburg tablecloth and shower curtain. I'll show it to you once I get it done. Scrappy, you, Rose and I along with some of the others here, need to get together some day and go shopping! I just had to share what the bed out in the folly looks like. I took everything down yesterday and gave it all a good washing and ironing since we'll be having company soon. The only heat in the folly is a wood stove and between tending it and ironing most of the day I'm a little done in. I don't know how those gals from the old days did it all!

Very nice!!  That is a beautiful bed and I can just imagine all the sweet dreams one would have while sleeping in it!!!!  I am a girlie girl too, and living in a house with all boys/men it's a challenge to combine masculine and feminine decorating ideas.  Thanks for sharing your photos with us!

Hugs,

~Donna~

Oh Blondie that would be sooo fun! I want to come sleep in your folly in that bed! Man that looks sooooooo inviting and I can tell you have done loads of work on it. If your company doesn't feel very special in that room somethings wrong with them!

Way to go Blondie!!! LOOKS AWESOME!
